Wedding Weekend: Day 1, GNO

So, Brandon and I are nearing the 2 month mark since we've been married and I haven't posted a darn thing since right after the honeymoon, but school just consumes my life! Today was a short day so I thought it would be a good time to start on the long list of posts I need to do. The date is right however because I am back dating so everything is in the right order.

Check back regularly to see if new pictures or posts have been added. As I am still waiting for pictures from friends.

Wedding weekend was absolutely amazing! I had the best time and was surrounded with family and friends and I couldn't have asked for things to turn out as wonderful as they did.

The festivities really started on Thursday when Mrs and Dickens arrived! It was so great to have them here and because of some last minute complications they ended up staying with me which was even better!! Who doesn't love it when the circus comes to town!

Us girls, including Dorothy who is five, met up with my Mom and sister for mani/pedis. This was the point in the weekend I was wishing I was in Cali because you get the best mani/pedis for so cheap!

ignore the fact I don't have a lick of make-up on
Dorothy was in a special bear chair

Dorothy kept muckin' up her nails and I think the place was a little irritated with us. Not sure why they can't just be nice about stuff, instead they were snippy snippy. Toes all turned out great, I decided on a french manicure for my fingernails, yeah they were destroyed by the next day so I resorted to just picking off the polish and going au natural.

Three best friends, ready for a girls night out

We headed back to the circus tent to primp and get ready for dinner, which we were running late for before we even knew it! We met up with more friends from both C-town and Boise. It was so much fun to chat and eat and a few people brought more gifts they made me open. I have no problem opening lingerie in front of an audience, but a restaurant audience is a different story!
I got some way cute stuff though!

L: Caldwell friends R: Boise friends, and mom and sister

The night went late as it usually does when the circus is in town. Chatting with friends, getting things ready, chasing the kids. I tried to get to bed as early as I could because I had a check-off and exam for school the next day. I don't remember if that happened or not. We were busy mauling little baby Violet and there was also a complete re-vamp of the "wedding" hairdo.

It was a great start to wedding weekend
Stay tuned for more to come...

Fun Fun!! The circus misses you!! That bear chair is frightening!

I miss the circus. That chair was really big for a kids chair. Do they think teenage girls would want to sit in that chair when they came to get their nails done?

We need to have another GNO soon.... i'm thinking the next one should be in Colorado in August. Tricia told me you were going to visit and I might have to fly down for a weekend too!

Yeah!!! Let's do it. I haven't hear back yet from my supervisor to see if she is going to work with me or not on getting the time off I want, but you should definitely fly over for more best friend reunification!!!
