Mike, Sarah and Topher came for a little visit. The day they arrived was Sarah's birthday (July 31) so the family went out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse (the Oregonians needed a little Texas that they can't get in their own state), no one complained though because we love Texas!!
Since it was Sarah's birthday we told the waitress, Sarah was a good sport, sat on the saddle and the staff sang Happy Birthday to her! It was a lot of fun!
The next day (Aug 1) was Mike and Sarah's ten year anniversary! And...I finally finished their wedding present! I have been working on this quilt for way too long and finally finished it off so I could send it home with them. In all my excitement I forgot to take a picture.
The following day (Aug 2) was Mike's birthday. We had a family picture outing which proved to be a bit of an adventure and unfortunately without any products that I love, but I guess that is expected when you're packing some extra pounds right?
Monday night we had Topher over for a sleepover with Heathies and Brandon. The next day we went to Powell's candy store and bought some treats. We met up with Mike, Sarah and Heidi after and floated the river, then it was off to the parents house for fondue!
It was a fun weekend filled with family. It was great to have Mike and family here for a visit. We don't get to see them enough.
