C-Town Christmas Party

We had our annual Friends Christmas Party. It consists of a group of us who grew up together who still live in the area. We've had this party for quite few years now. It's so much fun to get together and reconnect and even more crazy to see how everyone's families are growing!!

I had to work before so Brandon picked me up at work and drove to Nampa while I slipped out of scrubs and into normal clothes on the way. Unfortunately our food contribution wasn't as spectacular as I hoped. The lil' smokies sat in the slow cooker too long, but I think everyone just ate from the middle and still enjoyed them.

This year we had it at Shauna and Nate's new home. There was food and fun, new babies to hold and kids running around everywhere!!! Aubrey and Eli have the sweetest little girl. Even when she threw a fit she just yelled for a few seconds and it was over! Aside from the two babies the rest of the kids were up and down the stairs all over playing with everything. They seemed to have such a great time and played really well together.

I've been the odd one out in the group for quite a while now because I was single and had no kids. Now, even with a husband I still don't have any kids. It was fun though to not have to worry about one of my own causing trouble, I could just encourage mischief with everyone else's kids!

do you see the resemblance? Brandon is quite the impressionist.
Aub's little girl is such an angel! She threw a little tantrum that lasted all of 15 seconds and then she was happy again! So cute!

I got pics of most of kids, some were too busy running around crazy! They were such cheezers for the camera, it was awesome!

We had a gift exchange for the kids as well as one for the adults which included snatching gifts from each other. I came home with a mug and hot cocoa and Brandon got a big tin of popcorn that he wasn't really excited about sharing with me!

A whole mess of people! Clearly there were plenty of gifts to go around, I think everyone had a really great time.

Aubs and Shauna

Ben go something a little saucy in his present!

It didn't take long to become very exhausted (after working 12 hrs), but we had a great time. As usual it was great to see everyone. We all get so busy with family, work and school it makes it hard to get together and catch up.

Thanks to the Tufts for hosting our party this year!! It was really great to see everyone!!!
