Heidi's birthday was last week and since it fell in the middle of the week we decided to have her party on Halloween and make it a costume party. I was working the day of the party until seven and the party started at eight. Heidi P and I did most of the prep work on the food the night before until all hours of the night and then put it all together when I got home. My mom came over early to help, but we ran into some logistical problems (no one was home to let her in) so the meatballs and smokies didn't get put into the crock pots as early as they should have and so weren't ready till later and I think everyone filled up on everything else by then. In other words I have a lot of meatballs and smokies, feel free to stop by and have some.
The party was so much fun, lots of friends, great costumes and we welcomed Heidi's 27th year with laughter, food and fun!! We even got a few trick-or-treaters!
Here are some pictures from the party, when I get the ones from Heidi's camera I'll add those to the mix.
