Heidi's Halloween Birthday Bash!!

Heidi's birthday was last week and since it fell in the middle of the week we decided to have her party on Halloween and make it a costume party. I was working the day of the party until seven and the party started at eight. Heidi P and I did most of the prep work on the food the night before until all hours of the night and then put it all together when I got home. My mom came over early to help, but we ran into some logistical problems (no one was home to let her in) so the meatballs and smokies didn't get put into the crock pots as early as they should have and so weren't ready till later and I think everyone filled up on everything else by then. In other words I have a lot of meatballs and smokies, feel free to stop by and have some.
The party was so much fun, lots of friends, great costumes and we welcomed Heidi's 27th year with laughter, food and fun!! We even got a few trick-or-treaters!
Here are some pictures from the party, when I get the ones from Heidi's camera I'll add those to the mix.

Corn Maize

I love corn mazes! I don't know why, they are kind of pointless, running around endless paths, surrounded by corn. When you're done you find your way out and carry on with your life. There is just something about them that I think is so fun. This time was such a blast. We had a small group of six; Heidi P, Jothan, Robin, Brandon, Ty and I. I always love sneaking off from the group and circling around to scare them. Brandon, Ty and I did this right at the beginning, we ditched the other three and wandered and wandered, we quickly became lost, found our way to a tower and called the others. We agreed to meet in the middle. Yes, you are right, where is the middle? We ran down path after path after path, took a few shortcuts (don't tell, you're not suppose to) and got to the "middle" and the others called. Jothan whistled and I tell ya, we did really good getting to the same "middle" They were just a row or two away. I couldn't believe it. We had our fill and Heidi P led us out.
After, we were starving so we hit Cassanova Pizzaria for dinner, they had a variety and unusual pizza and they were quite good. I really liked the Idaho Potato Pizza, has a kick to it.

OH, they also had this jumpy "pillow" thing at the corn maze. Kind of like a big, blow up trampoline. I want one in my house. It looked like so much fun!

I just love this boy
I had the camera and we had ditched the others so we had to do the usual self portrait, yes Brandon has kettle corn sticking out of his mouth

Ty kept getting annoyed with my picture taking because the flash really blinded you, but he cooperated and even asked for a picture to be taken too so I don't think he was too mad at me

This is when we finally caught up with the others, we heard them crashing through the corn
