the first thing that popped into my head was going to the el capitan theater in LA and seeing Lilo and Stich. I cried at the whole aloha oe part. Then we had a blast at the after party making leis and such
good times
i remember the first time I met you on the bus during choir tour. We were both interested in boys (who will remain nameless). I'm sure we are both happy that didn't work out. But that trip was when we became friends. I just have a lot of memories of you and I talking about the boys we were and weren't dating. Going swimming at Lucky Peak and hanging out with Bro. Spjute. We sure had a lot of fun.
My absolute favorite memory of Heather (and I have many!) is when we were on this remote motu on Raiatea (in the islands of Tahiti) and I told Heather that I read in this book a philosopher who suggested writing your problems in the sand and watching the sand wash them away. Something like it gives you a visual picture of blah, blah, blah . . . anyways, so Heather gets this stick and big ol' stick and starts writing her problems and big huge letters and we were both just cracking up.
I have so many memories with Heathies!! The summer of bugs and drive-by's, cowboy joe (I think there's still a time capsule in the yard of his old house in Caldwell, we've got to dig that up!), deer tracks, and most recently hiking to the Hollywood sign and climbing under the fence so we could actually touch it and then thinking the LA police were after us in a helicopter!! Good times!
