Summer of Reunions!

Amid the busy-ness of school and work I have found some time to reunite with family and friends, it has been wonderful!!

It began with the best friend reunification which you read about below. Here is another picture of Jessica and I at her family reunion. I've been to my friends family reunions more than I have been to my own this summer!

Dickens and I at a park in Salem, Ut. Gabrialsen family reunion. Mrs may get mad for not posting the one she is in, but I look really bad in it, sorry Mrs.

Next was the Denny family reunion in Nampa, ID. This is my Grandma Barrus' side of the family. My brother and his family came down for this, it is always fun to see him, doesn't happen very often. The big hit at the reunion, SLIME!! Homemade by everyones favorite Aunty Heather! It was a "science experiment" that Topher and I did, and let me tell you those kids loved it. I'm so glad they didn't grind any into the carpet at the club house, I would have quickly become the Aunty who got in the most trouble at the reunion.

This is my Grandpa and Grandma Barrus, some of their kids and grandkids. There were about ten different camers so we're not all looking the same direction at the same time. : )

About a week and a half ago I went to eastern Idaho with some friends for their family reunion. It was so much fun! It's always fun to join in on other family reunion, you get to play the mysterious friend without any kinds of string attached. We went and saw this old family farm house in Ashton, Idaho. It was so neat, this cute old house sitting on 600 acres of land, most of which is wheat fields with the Tetons shooting up into the sky in the distance... Beautiful country out there.
I don't have any pictures from this one, if I get some I'll post them.

This past weekend a couple of my old college roommates put together a little BYU-Hawaii reunion down in Utah. Mostly this was an attempt to get together and reconnect with some of the amazing friends we made while we were down there. It turned out great, hopefully we have an even better turn out next year. We had some great food catered by the Bamboo Hut in Provo, yummy, I love Kalua pig! And although it was deathly hot we found some relief in the shade and had a great time meeting new people and catching up with old friend. It was so good to see old roommates, Heidi, Bonnie, Elena, Tania, Bonita, Gibby, and great friends, Julie, Brad, Lyndi and the other softball girls!

It's crazy coming from a school that is so small you see everyone, everywhere, all the time then after not seeing them for a while, seeing them again. It makes your brain go crazy, trying to remember why you know them, how, did you have any personel connections or have you just seen them around. Then trying to figure out where you know them from, here, there, when you were young, college, now.
