With Springtime comes Softball!!

I love sitting outside in the beautiful weather watching my friends play softball. I always wish I could go out and play with them too because it looks like fun, but I am so not anywhere close to being good enough. I am the queen at getting out.

As much as I love to enjoy the weather while watching a game I have yet to do it. Annie is on a league team and we have gone to two of her games and they were both so cold!! The first one was so ridiculously cold it was, well... ridiculous.

However, even though it was bitter cold and the wind was blowing like nothing else I did get some cool pics. I am a little disappointed at the amount of "noise" in the pictures my camera takes and I am not sure how to fix that, so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, Natty, I would love them. It's just a simple point and shoot, but a Canon and from the reviews and megapixals and cost I expected a bit more.

Anyway, here are some pics! Enjoy!

Spring has Sprung...

and then it ran back to where it came from.
So last weekend was absolutely gorgeous! The weather was perfect, temperature in the 70's, sun shining, nothing better.
I grabbed my bike and headed out on the greenbelt. I just can't explain how wonderful it was. We went from snow, to beautiful sun and back to freezing, windy, cold!
Here are some pictures of spring.

See the green!!

Ok, I'm no professional, but I wanted to get a picture of the pretty green sprouting on the trees. Sooner or later we are going to really get spring and then summer and I will be so happy.

No Bears are out Tonight!

Yellowstone Bear World brought their baby bears to Sportsman's Warehouse and you could get your picture taken with you holding the bear!! Oh my heck, they are so cute, I want a baby bear! My nephew was in town so I met my dad and nephew at Sportsman's Warehouse and waited in this forever long line and stood next to this odd lady who asked my dad to take a picture of her and her kids on his iphone, even though she was taking pictures with her own camera phone. Definitely did not understand the concept of boundaries.
Those little baby bears are the cutest. Here are some pics.

You can see in the first picture me saying "oh how cute" either that or "I want a bear of my own"

April Snow Showers!!!!

While my friend Shana is turning on her A/C, I was scraping snow off my car. Yep, snow all over my car this morning.
Ok, so I am going to back track to St. Patty's day. Lots of activities surrounding that day. There was a surprise birthday party for Brandon's mom, her name is Patty. Yep, because she was born on St. Patty's day!
Heidi Peterson's birthday was the day before St. Patty's day and there was a party for her with a coffin cake (she turned 30) we mourned the loss of her youth. =) We also had "Cafe Rio" food, so delicious her mom is such a fancy cook. Oh and Jothan brought a super, triple, yummy, delicious, chocolate cheesecake, that he made from scratch. Wow! It was awesome!
On the Sunday before St. Patty's day we had a birthday/St. Patty's dinner. It was Heidi's real birthday so we celebrated again. We had the traditional corned beef and cabbage made by Annie along with a sweet array of dessert. Seriously, so much dessert. We had two black bottomed strawberry cheesecakey pies, a shamrock cake that Tammy made and coffin cake. Delicious!
Ok, enough about all that, here are some pictures.

Blog-a-thon

Not really, I just thought I would do a quick post to say hello to one and all because I have been a slacker in blogger world.

Sadly "Spring Break" is over. Can't say it was too exciting because I just stayed here and worked and kind of bummed around. It was nice to have some time off from school, but now I have to figure out how to get myself motivated for the second half.

We have had some exciting times the past month, birthdays, St. Patrick's and a visit from the Topher, but I will post stuff about those later.

Just a little update on what I am doing. Brandon and I are doing a cleanse. One of our friends did this one and I thought it would be fun to do, just for kicks and giggles. We'll see how it goes, today is day one. It is ten days long and you drink this herbal laxative tea in the morning and night and then during the day you drink this "lemonade" concoction and you can also drink water. I really hate herbal tea, always have and always will. I seriously thought the tea was going to come back up the way it went down. The "lemonade" drink isn't too bad, my first batch I put way too much cayenne pepper and so it was a pretty spicy lemonade. I'll keep you all posted on the fun adventure of the cleanse. We'll see if I can make it, all I want to do right now is eat yummy, delicious food!!

Here are some pictures from a while ago when our DVD player died and Brandon had a hay-day taking it apart to fix it. He did a great job to, it worked, but then it started pausing. Finally Heidi just decided to buy a new one.
