Earthquake in Idaho?

It's true, well not completely. The earthquake was in Wells, Nevada, last Thursday the 21st of February at about 7:15 in the morning. It was felt all over Idaho. I was at work and a couple of our Tele nurses came running over "did you guys feel that?". Christa and I didn't have a clue what they were talking about. We were all standing around discussing the fact that our Tele nurses were going crazy when all of the sudden we felt another wave!! It was the weirdest thing, I've never experienced that before. It was kind of exciting. I spent a bit of time throughout the day checking updates. The earthquake measured 6.3 on the richter scale. As far as I heard there was damage to buildings in Wells and quite a mess was made, luckily no one was hurt.
Wow! Shakin in Idaho!

Valentine's Day!

It was a good day. The first one that I had my very own Valentine. I had to work all day, I brought chocolates for my co-workers, most of which I think I ate. One of our Respiratory Therapists tried to high-tail with the dark chocolate mint. It all of course was Swiss chocolate. =)

Brandon came over after I got off and I gave him a black, Oakley, zip-up hoodie. He loves it! He gave me a chocolate rose, with the chocolate part eaten, when I turned the package around it said "to Brandon, from Mom and Dad" silly man. Then he gave me a box wrapped up in nothing else, but paper towels, you heard me, paper towels. I opened it and there it was, a huge, Palmer chocolate fish. Yep, Palmer chocolate. Anyone that knows me well, knows I hate Palmer chocolate. Hate it! It's just cheap chocolate. Brandon knows quite well about my not so affectionate feelings towards Palmer chocolate. This was all just apart of what he loves to do, elaborate, tricky ways to give gifts. You can never trust the first one with this boy. Once for Mother's Day he gave his mother a gift in a cow's heart. It was "from the heart". There was one more box in his bag for me and it was See's chocolate. Now this is chocolate I can get on board with. He picked out all the flavors in the box and tried to get ones that I liked. He did and excellent job mmmmmm, I love chocolate! Then he took me out to Goodwood for dinner.
It was a great day with a great guy!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL!!

Blog

I'm still trying to get my blog looking as I want it to. I like the colors right now, but the links don't show up until after you click on there, but if you don't know they're there then you don't know to click on them. If anyone has suggestions I'll take 'em!

Painting!

So... Finally after twenty-two years my parents have decided to do some updating in their house. It started with the carpet, I didn't know what to do with myself when my mom asked me to help her look at carpet samples, but I wasn't about to say no. So we looked and she had some great samples picked out. They went for a cut berber, which is berber with a design sort of carved out. Very "in". Shortly after all the carpet talk, paint talk started. So exciting!! I have seriously been waiting year, you can ask my parents, I've been begging them to do this for years while I lived at home, and I haven't lived at home for a while. So the carpet is in, we picked out paint samples, different colors for different walls, big plans. Heidi and I spent a couple of days over there helping pull off left over wallpaper, wiping down walls, taping and painting and taping and painting and taping and painting. Quite the ordeal. We didn't get finished and my parents have had the task to do the remaining bits. If they are not done this weekend I'll head over for more fun. I'm so excited to see the finished product. Here are some pictures from the fun!

Look, we are happy when we're paiting. At least that is what the pictures say.
